BOEM was honored to host Mr. Santosh, a young seminary student currently studying in Seoul. (BOEM's gracious pastor Jenna often invites guest preachers from all over the world to deliver the sermons at BOEM).
Santosh's sermon was about triumphing over adversity in Christ. He explained that in his boyhood in Nepal there was a Maoist insurgency (1996-2006). His father, a Christian pastor, and his family were attacked by Maoists and beaten. His family fled the village to the capital city.
Just one week later, his father, still bruised and weakened from the attack, boldly said his place was back in the village. He went. He reconstructed the church. That church still stands in 2015, and is now an active faith community!
